As a graduate of our 8 week Mindfulness courses (or an 8 week MBCT or MBSR course elsewhere), you are invited to join our monthly practice sessions and retreat days as well as our private facebook group. We also have a graduate course which runs each year and are planning a weekend residential retreat for 2019.
We are growing community of like-minded people who come together regularly to support each other with our practice and extend our learning.
Monthly Mindfulness Sessions
Our monthly practice sessions are orientated around a theme and include teachings, reflection + meditation practice. They take place on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Mansion House at Oaklands College and are taught by one of our teachers or a guest teacher.
The sessions are always
7.15 arrival tea and coffee
Graduates can book on sessions here.
Graduate Day Retreats
These days are usually mainly in silence with opportunity for reflection at the end. Working with silence is a practice which can help you deepen your experience with Mindfulness. As teachers, we are always there to support you so you can talk to us if you need to but in general, the day is in silence with a series of guided practices.
Most of our silent days are held at the beautiful venue of Felden Lodge in Hemel Hempstead.
Our forthcoming day retreats are:
- Saturday 22nd September – Details & booking here
- Sunday 6th January – save the date
Graduate course – Compassion & Insight
We ran our first graduate course in 2018 and will be running another in 2019. This course is committed practitioners wishing to extend their learning in a group format. The focus is around building Compassion & Insight practices which are a natural follow-on from the 8 week course.
We have plans to run a residential retreat in 2019. This will likely be 2 nights over a weekend and will contain periods of silence. Please get in touch for further questions.
